We are seeking a Senior Career Counsellor with at least 5 years of relevant experience working with school students, particularly adolescents in Classes 6–12.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience helping students navigate subject and stream selection after Class 10, career exploration, higher education pathways, and career-related confusion.
This role involves individual counselling, career assessments, student workshops, parental guidance, and contributing to the development of structured career counselling services at Mentora Health.

• Administer and interpret appropriate career assessments, including aptitude, interest, personality, and career exploration tools, within professional competency and licensing requirements.
• Develop personalised career guidance reports and actionable recommendations for students.
• Provide guidance on undergraduate programmes, entrance examinations, universities, vocational opportunities, and emerging career pathways.
• Conduct career awareness workshops, group guidance sessions, and interactive programmes in schools.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, school counsellors, and other professionals to support informed student decision-making.
• Contribute professional expertise to developing Mentora's career counselling frameworks, assessment processes, and digital resources.
• Maintain appropriate documentation, confidentiality, professional ethics, and child-safeguarding standards.
Required Qualifications and Experience
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in career counselling, with substantial direct experience working with school students.
• Master's degree in Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Educational Psychology, Career Counselling Diplomas, or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated expertise in stream selection, career exploration, and academic decision-making among adolescents.
• Strong understanding of the Indian education system, entrance examinations, higher education options, and evolving career opportunities.
• Practical experience using and interpreting career assessment tools.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counselling skills.
• Ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and school administrators.
• Commitment to ethical, evidence-informed, student-centred counselling practices.
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience as a Senior Career Counsellor, School Career Counsellor, or Career Guidance Specialist.
• Relevant certifications or specialised training in career counselling and psychometric assessments.
• Experience developing career guidance programmes, conducting school workshops, or preparing structured assessment reports.
• Familiarity with digital counselling platforms and technology-enabled career guidance.
Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid position based in Delhi, involving a combination of remote professional responsibilities and in-person engagements with schools, students, and institutional stakeholders across Delhi NCR.
Candidates should be comfortable travelling to schools for scheduled counselling sessions, workshops, and related activities.
