Assistant Manager Audit and Compliance

Role Description As part of our continued growth, we are establishing a centralized Finance Back-Office Hub in Cochin, Kerala, and are looking for high-calibre Chartered Accountants to join our finance team.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
IFRS & Financial Accounting
* Manage monthly financial closing and IFRS-compliant accounting
* Prepare and monitor cash flow reports
* Handle Goods-in-Transit (GIT) and Funds-in-Transit (FIT) accounting
GCC Tax Compliance
* Manage VAT, Corporate Tax, Withholding Tax and Transfer Pricing
* Coordinate tax compliance across GCC entities
Audit & Financial Governance
* Manage statutory and internal audits
* Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation
* Handle tax and government authority inquiries, including ZATCA and FTA
Management Reporting & Analytics
* Prepare MIS, management reports and financial analysis
* Develop executive dashboards
* Utilize Power BI, Tableau or similar analytics tools
GCC Finance Coordination
* Coordinate with regional finance teams across GCC countries
* Liaise with auditors, tax advisors and external consultants
* Support continuous improvement of finance processes and controls
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
* Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – ICAI Member
* Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience
* Strong experience in accounting, financial reporting, statutory compliance and audit
* Good knowledge of IFRS
* GCC tax experience will be an advantage
* FMCG / Wholesale / Distribution / Retail experience preferred
* Hands-on ERP experience – SAP / Oracle / Dynamics or equivalent
* Advanced MS Excel skills
* Power BI / Tableau experience will be an advantage
* Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
