Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) to oversee financial operations, ensure statutory and regulatory compliance, and provide strategic financial insights to support business growth. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in accounting, taxation, auditing, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls, along with the ability to support senior management in financial planning and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting: Prepare and review accurate financial statements, including Profit & Loss Accounts, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements, in accordance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS/IFRS/GAAP, as relevant).
Audit & Assurance: Manage internal and external audits, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and identify opportunities to improve financial processes.
Internal Controls: Develop and implement effective internal control systems to safeguard company assets and maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
Taxation & Compliance: Oversee direct and indirect taxation, including Income Tax, GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory filings, ensuring timely compliance with regulatory requirements.
Financial Planning & Analysis: Prepare budgets, forecasts, financial models, and variance analyses to support business planning and management decisions.
Strategic Financial Advisory: Provide recommendations on cost optimization, investment planning, cash flow management, profitability, and financial risk mitigation.
Financial Performance Monitoring: Analyse financial trends, key performance indicators, and budget variances to identify business opportunities and potential risks.
Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities as required.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to applicable accounting standards, financial regulations, tax laws, and statutory requirements.
Team Management: Guide and mentor junior accounting professionals, review their work, and promote accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, auditing, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and internal financial controls.
Familiarity with accounting software, ERP systems, and MS Excel.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience in managing end-to-end finance and accounting operations.
Knowledge of applicable Indian accounting standards, Income Tax, GST, TDS, and corporate compliance.
Ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable business recommendations.
Strong attention to detail, integrity, and time-management skills.
