Role Description The Site Engineer at DREAMSCAPE DECORS is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore. This position is responsible for supervising day-to-day site activities, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and ensuring work is completed according to design specifications and safety standards. The Site Engineer monitors project progress, conducts quality checks, verifies measurements, and supports resolution of technical issues on site. The role involves reviewing drawings, guiding site teams, tracking materials, and reporting site status to project managers and other stakeholders. The Site Engineer also ensures adherence to timelines, manages site documentation, and supports smooth handover of completed work.
Qualifications
Ability to work effectively in on-site environments, with strong coordination and supervision skills.
Clear and professional communication skills for interaction with clients, vendors, and project teams.
Experience in quality control, including inspection of workmanship, materials, and adherence to standards.
Knowledge of structural engineering principles and practical application in construction or interior projects.
Background as a civil engineer or comparable engineering discipline with site management responsibilities.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred.
Familiarity with construction drawings, basic project scheduling, and site safety practices.
Proficiency with basic MS Office tools; exposure to CAD or similar design software is an advantage.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing site requirements.
