Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable, high-performance enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Design and develop microservices-based architectures and RESTful APIs.
Build and manage event-driven applications using Apache Kafka.
Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Implement automated testing strategies using Cucumber and BDD practices.
Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
Identify opportunities to leverage AI/Generative AI capabilities to enhance application functionality and developer productivity.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive performance optimization, scalability, and application reliability.
Required Skills:
12+ years of experience in Java development, including technical leadership.
Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
Expertise in Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture.
Experience with Kubernetes and containerized application deployments.
Strong knowledge of Cucumber, BDD, and automated testing frameworks.
Familiarity with AI/Generative AI technologies and their integration into enterprise applications.
Experience with REST APIs, design patterns, coding standards, and performance optimization.
Strong problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in cloud-native application development and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience mentoring technical teams and driving end-to-end delivery.
