Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Architectural Drafter role based in Hyderabad. The Architectural Drafter will prepare detailed architectural and construction drawings for retail outlets, production areas, office spaces, and related facilities. Daily responsibilities include translating design concepts into technical drawings, updating plans based on feedback from architects and project managers, and ensuring drawings comply with relevant standards and local codes. The role involves coordinating with internal stakeholders and vendors, maintaining organized drawing files, and supporting planning activities such as space utilization, layout optimization, and minor design adjustments as needed.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings, with the ability to produce clear, accurate, and detailed plans.
Knowledge of Architecture and Planning principles, including space planning, layout design, and basic understanding of building codes.
Solid Drawing skills, including the ability to interpret design concepts and convert them into technical documentation.
Experience using CAD software or similar drafting tools for architectural and construction projects.
Diploma or degree in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple drawing tasks within deadlines.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy and compliance with standards.
Required Software Skills
AutoCAD: Must have working knowledge of 2D drafting and drawing modifications.
SketchUp / Revit: Knowledge of either software will be an added advantage.
MS Office: Basic knowledge of Word and Excel for documentation.
Required Skills
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in drafting or architectural drawing.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Good knowledge of dimensions, measurements, scale, and drawing standards.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Willingness to learn and work according to project requirements.
