Job Brief: Join JSW Steel Limited's Compact Strip Production Caster & Mill team as a key engineering professional responsible for overseeing and optimizing the continuous casting and rolling processes. Responsibilities
Monitor and control the compact strip production casting and rolling processes to ensure adherence to quality and production targets.
Analyze process parameters and metallurgical data to optimize product quality and minimize defects.
Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule and execute preventive and corrective maintenance of casting and mill equipment.
Implement process improvements and technological upgrades to enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and develop corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards specific to steel manufacturing operations.
Collaborate with R&D and quality assurance teams to develop new steel grades and improve existing products.
Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation related to process performance and equipment status.
Train and mentor junior engineers and operators on process control and best practices within the compact strip production line.
Participate in cross-functional project teams to support plant expansions, upgrades, and new technology implementations.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline from a recognized university.
