Arthayan collaborates with incubators, educational institutions, and corporates to design tailored accelerator programs for diverse cohorts.
Role Description The Incubation Manager is responsible for managing and growing Arthayan’s incubation and accelerator programs, with a focus on startups in the Mumbai ecosystem. This full-time hybrid role involves working from Arthayan’s Mumbai location while allowing some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include scouting and selecting startups for cohorts, conducting needs assessments, and designing program roadmaps and support structures. The Incubation Manager coordinates with mentors, investors, and ecosystem partners to schedule sessions, workshops, and networking events, and ensures that each startup receives relevant guidance in areas such as fundraising, product development, operations, and market entry. The role also includes tracking cohort progress, maintaining detailed program documentation, preparing reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, and gathering feedback to continuously improve incubation offerings. The Incubation Manager will collaborate closely with Arthayan’s different verticals to align program outcomes with broader ecosystem goals.
Qualifications
Experience in startup incubation, acceleration, or ecosystem building, with the ability to design and manage structured support programs for early-stage ventures.
Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage founders, mentors, investors, incubators, and corporate partners effectively.
Proficiency in program operations and coordination, including cohort management, event planning, documentation, and reporting.
Solid understanding of startup fundamentals such as business modeling, fundraising processes, go-to-market strategies, and growth planning.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to facilitate sessions, conduct one-on-one mentoring, and create clear program materials.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess startup needs, track key performance indicators, and recommend actionable interventions.
Comfort with using digital tools and platforms for program management, collaboration, and data tracking.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, entrepreneurship, management, or a related field; prior experience with incubators, accelerators, or startup consulting is highly desirable.
