Role Overview
As a Patient Safety Assistant (PSA), you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe and supportive environment for our patients. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you'll provide essential care and companionship, including patient observation, assistance with daily activities, and engagement in meaningful interactions. What You Will Do
Provide patient observation and report any changes to the Registered Nurse per protocol.
Assist patients with feeding, bathing, toileting, and ambulating.
Engage patients in activities they enjoy, such as reading or playing cards.
Offer companionship and emotional support to patients.
Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Successful completion of BLS Heartsaver during orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in patient care or a related field.
Familiarity with healthcare settings and patient safety protocols.
