Area HRBP

Role Description The Area HRBP role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for partnering with business and store leadership to implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals, including workforce planning, talent management, and employee engagement. The Area HRBP will manage day-to-day HR operations such as handling employee queries, supporting recruitment, onboarding, and induction, and coordinating training and development initiatives across designated locations. The role includes driving performance management processes, advising on HR policies, supporting compliance with labor and employment laws, and proactively managing employee relations issues. The Area HRBP will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to support change management, ensure consistent HR practices, and contribute to a positive, high-performance workplace culture.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) practices, with experience as an HR generalist or business partner.
Knowledge of HR Policies and their implementation across multiple locations or business units.
Expertise in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, grievance handling, and employee engagement.
Understanding of Labor and Employment Law, with the ability to ensure compliance in retail or manufacturing environments.
Experience in Performance Management, including goal setting, appraisal processes, and feedback mechanisms.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and partner with business leaders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including comfort with HR data, metrics, and reporting.
Master degree in Human Resources, Master of Business Administration, or a related field; a relevant postgraduate qualification or HR certification is an advantage.
Experience working in retail, apparel, or multi-location organizations is preferred.
Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, travel to area locations as required, and communicate effectively in English and local languages.
