Key Responsibilities:
Design, enhance, evolve Event Management solutions in ServiceNow ITOM
Translate monitoring/observability requirements into event/alert designs
Support onboarding, standardization, transitions, modernization, migrations
Implement event ingestion, normalization, deduplication, correlation, enrichment
Design alert lifecycle, noise reduction, incident generation workflows
Enable service health, business impact visibility, prioritization
Build self-remediation, automation-led operational improvements
Apply AIOps for anomaly detection, intelligent correlation, analytics
Define standards, patterns, integration approaches for future-ready solutions
Develop scripting, integrations (MID Server, APIs), Flow Designer logic
Integrate monitoring sources (infrastructure, cloud, apps, telemetry, OpenTelemetry)
Collaborate with architecture, engineering, operations, support teams
Requirements:
9–15 years in ServiceNow ITOM Event Management
Strong understanding of Event Management module, data model, integrations
Hands-on/knowledge of scripting, JavaScript, Transform Maps, MID Server, Flow Designer
Experience with monitoring/observability (metrics, logs, traces, OpenTelemetry)
AIOps awareness (anomaly detection, correlation, noise reduction, analytics)
Strong solution design, consulting, stakeholder management skills
Experience in enhancement, migration, modernization, onboarding scenarios
