Site Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Site Engineer role based in Chennai. The Site Engineer will oversee daily site operations, ensuring that construction and installation activities are executed according to design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. Responsibilities include coordinating with civil and structural engineers, supervising contractors and site staff, monitoring quality control procedures, and preparing regular progress reports. The role involves conducting site inspections, identifying and resolving technical issues, supporting HSE compliance, and liaising with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to maintain clear communication. The Site Engineer will also contribute to resource planning, materials management, and continuous improvement of on-site processes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong on-site supervision skills and experience working on EPCC or similar industrial projects.
Candidates should possess effective communication skills for coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and clients.
Candidates should possess quality control and HSE awareness skills to ensure compliance with project standards and safety regulations.
Candidates should possess structural engineering and civil engineering knowledge relevant to petroleum, oil and gas, or industrial infrastructure projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline; relevant certifications in construction management or HSE are an advantage.
Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, using site measurement tools, and preparing technical documentation and reports.
Ability to work independently on site, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing project requirements.
Prior experience in large-scale industrial, offshore–onshore, or marine projects in or around Chennai is preferred.
