Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced AI/ML Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Computer Vision to join an immediate client engagement.
The ideal candidate will have practical experience developing, training, evaluating, and optimizing computer vision models for image-based applications. A strong foundation in Deep Learning, Python, and model performance optimization is essential.
This is a three-month, delivery-focused client engagement. The role can be performed remotely or from Mangalore and involves daily stand-up meetings, regular code commits, and code reviews to track progress and ensure timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, train, implement, and optimize Computer Vision models for image-based applications.
Design and build AI/ML solutions using Computer Vision and Deep Learning techniques.
Work on image processing, image classification, object detection, and image segmentation.
Prepare, preprocess, and manage datasets for model training, validation, and testing.
Evaluate model performance and optimize accuracy, efficiency, and reliability.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Python code.
Debug and troubleshoot model-related issues and improve performance.
Integrate Computer Vision models into existing or new application workflows.
Maintain regular code commits for progress tracking and client review.
Participate in daily stand-up meetings and code reviews.
Collaborate with the team to achieve project milestones and meet delivery timelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
4-6 years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering, with strong practical experience in Computer Vision.
Strong proficiency in Python programming.
Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
Practical knowledge of computer vision techniques, image processing, and image-based model development.
Experience with computer vision libraries such as OpenCV.
Understanding of deep learning architectures and their application to computer vision problems.
Experience in model training, evaluation, and performance optimization.
Familiarity with dataset preparation, preprocessing, and validation techniques.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with the team.
Good communication skills and the ability to provide regular progress updates.
Additional Requirements:
Available to join immediately.
Willingness to commit to the complete three-month engagement.
Comfortable participating in daily stand-ups and maintaining regular code commits.
Ability to work in a delivery-focused environment and meet project deadlines.
Remote candidates must be comfortable with regular virtual collaboration and client code reviews.
