We are seeking Brazilian Portuguese Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in Games & Puzzles to create high‑quality, expert‑level question‑and‑answer content. This role goes beyond basic data labeling and requires deep domain knowledge, critical thinking, and strong writing skills to test advanced reasoning and contextual understanding in Brazilian Portuguese.
Key Responsibilities
Develop advanced, open-ended questions grounded in realistic, real-world scenarios related to game theory, interactive storytelling, procedural generation, puzzle logic, and the cultural impact of gaming within the Brazilian market
Provide in-depth, accurate, and well-structured answers supported by strong domain knowledge
Incorporate Brazil-specific cultural, social, and regulatory context where relevant
Design content that requires critical thinking, nuance, and multi-step reasoning
Ensure clarity, precision, and consistently high writing quality in Brazilian Portuguese
Follow detailed project guidelines and meet agreed timelines and quality standards
Use of AI tools to generate answers or questions is strictly prohibited.
Requirements
Native or fluent proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese (pt-BR)
5–10+ years of professional experience in a relevant field
Demonstrated expertise through academic background and/or industry experience
Strong analytical skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, structured manner
Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality output in a guideline-driven environment
Nice to Have
Experience with content creation, research, education, or knowledge evaluation
Familiarity with AI training, data annotation, or evaluation projects
Background in interdisciplinary work (e.g. logic and problem‑solving, mathematics, cognitive science, game design, recreational mathematics)
Suitable backgrounds may include Game Designers & Systems Architects: professionals with senior-level experience in mechanics design, economy balancing, or level design for AAA, indie, or mobile gaming; Narrative Designers & Game Writers: Experts in branching narratives, world-building, and character development specifically for interactive media and RPGs; Puzzle Designers & Ludologists: creators of complex logic puzzles, escape room scenarios, or cryptic challenges with a deep understanding of difficulty scaling and player flow; Tabletop & Board Game Developers: Designers or publishers of modern board games, card games, or tabletop RPGs (TTRPGs) with expertise in physical components and ruleset clarity; Game User Research (GUR) & UX Specialists: Experts in player psychology, playtesting methodology, and human-computer interaction (HCI) within gaming environments; Esports Analysts & Professional Players: Individuals with a deep strategic understanding of competitive meta-games, high-level mechanics, and professional tournament structures; Software Engineers & Technical Directors: Senior developers specializing in game engines (Unity, Unreal), physics simulations, or AI behavior within gaming systems; Gamification Experts: Consultants who apply game-design thinking and play mechanics to non-game contexts like education, health, or corporate training.
