Security Engineer

We're looking for a hands on Security Engineer to help strengthen our global security environment through cloud security, automation, identity management and incident response.
You'll work on exciting greenfield projects, building automated security solutions and improving how we detect, respond to and prevent threats.
What you'll do
Automate compliance evidence collection and security integrations using Python, Go and REST APIs.
Configure and optimise Google Cloud Security Command Center (SCC) and automated incident response playbooks.
Support Zero Trust security, Just-In-Time access and identity management solutions.
Integrate and maintain security scanning within GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
Investigate security incidents and support remediation across our GCP environment.
Develop and test disaster recovery automation to improve platform resilience.
What you'll bring
4+ years of hands-on Security Engineering experience in a cloud-native environment.
Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ideally including IAM, networking and GKE.
Scripting skills in Python, Bash or Go, with experience using REST APIs.
Knowledge of security monitoring, vulnerability management and incident response.
Familiarity with EDR tools, application security and CI/CD security scanning.
Experience with Sprinto, CrowdStrike, Twingate, JumpCloud or SIEM/SOAR tools is a plus.
