IT Project Coordinator - Software Development | Jira | Agile

Script Assist is looking for an IT Project Coordinator with around 1-3 years of experience working with software development teams.
You will work closely with software developers, QA testers and product and technical teams to coordinate day-to-day software delivery, maintain development tasks and tickets, track progress and make sure work moves through the development lifecycle.
We are looking for someone with hands-on experience in software project coordination, development task management, Jira or ClickUp, Agile/Scrum and software development workflows.
What you will do
• Coordinate day-to-day software development projects and tasks
• Maintain and manage development tickets in Jira, ClickUp or similar project-management tools
• Track tickets through development, code review, testing, QA and completion
• Coordinate work between developers, QA testers and product teams
• Track project tasks, priorities, milestones, deadlines and deliverables
• Monitor development progress and follow up outstanding actions
• Identify and escalate blockers, dependencies and delivery risks
• Support daily stand-ups, sprint planning and backlog management
• Help organise and maintain sprints and development backlogs
• Track bugs, fixes, change requests and production issues
• Keep ticket status, owners, priorities and target dates up to date
• Coordinate QA handovers and follow work through testing
• Prepare project and sprint progress updates
• Support software releases and delivery
• Help improve development workflows and project-management processes
Experience we are looking for
• Around 1-3 years of professional experience in software or IT project coordination
• Experience working directly with software developers and QA teams
• Hands-on experience using Jira, ClickUp, Azure DevOps, Asana, Trello or similar software-development task-management tools
• Experience managing or tracking development tickets, bugs, tasks and backlogs
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Experience working in an Agile or Scrum software-development environment
• Exposure to sprints, sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog management and software releases
• Experience tracking deadlines, dependencies, blockers and delivery progress
• Strong organisation, follow-up and attention to detail
• Good written and spoken English
• Strong communication with technical teams
• Proactive approach to project coordination and delivery
Relevant experience may include roles such as IT Project Coordinator, Project Coordinator, Technical Project Coordinator, Junior Project Coordinator or Associate Project Coordinator.
