Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Data Mining Intern. The intern will assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various online and internal sources. Daily tasks include applying basic data mining techniques, performing exploratory data analysis, and generating structured datasets for use by senior team members. The intern will support in preparing simple reports, documenting processes, and helping improve data quality and consistency. Collaboration with data, research, and technical teams will be part of the role, with guidance provided to build practical skills in data science and analytics.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills and an ability to interpret patterns and trends in data.
Foundational knowledge of Statistics and Data Science concepts.
Exposure to Data Mining and Data Analysis techniques and tools.
Familiarity with spreadsheets, databases, or basic programming (e.g., Python, R) is beneficial.
Currently pursuing or having recently completed studies in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related discipline.
Attention to detail, organized work habits, and the ability to follow data-related procedures accurately.
Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Interest in developing a career in data, analytics, or technology-focused roles.
