Interim Chief Technology Officer

We’re hiring: Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Zoyra
Zoyra is an early-stage startup on a mission to make fertility and family wellbeing support easier to understand and access.
We’re looking for a hands-on CTO to work directly with the founder, shape our technical direction and turn our existing platform into a secure, scalable product.
What you’ll do:
• Define the technical roadmap and architecture for our web platform and future mobile app.
• Review and strengthen our existing Lovable-built product, identifying what to improve, rebuild or retain.
• Lead development of our consumer and employer experiences, including onboarding, provider search and personalised user journeys.
• Strengthen security across authentication, access controls, APIs and data storage.
• Build privacy into the product and support GDPR compliance, particularly when handling sensitive information.
• Develop integrations with providers and external services.
• Establish reliable testing, deployment, monitoring and backup processes.
• Help build and lead the engineering team as Zoyra grows.
What we’re looking for:
• Strong full-stack development and architecture experience.
• A hands-on approach and confidence working in an early-stage startup.
• Experience with Supabase, PostgreSQL, modern JavaScript frameworks and cloud infrastructure.
• A solid understanding of application security and privacy by design.
• The ability to balance product quality, development speed and long-term maintainability.
• Experience in healthtech, benefits platforms or other sensitive-data environments would be a plus.
