Urgent WFH : Data & Reporting Engineer

Key Responsibilities
Inventory and document scheduled jobs, pipelines, databases, reports, owners, dependencies, and failure processes
Maintain and troubleshoot Python-based data pipelines, Docker Compose services, Linux deployments, and internal tools
Manage scheduling, monitoring, alerting, and database backup/restore processes
Clean up experimental/personal projects and ensure credentials, repositories, servers, and cloud accounts are properly controlled
Automate report generation and delivery through email, SFTP, and shared drives
Expand data ingestion from administration systems and CRMs with validation and error handling.
Refactor systems to reduce maintenance risks and improve reliability
Build reporting data models and Power BI dashboards for operations, finance, sales, and leadership
Automate dashboard refresh, publishing, and row-level security while translating business needs into reliable metrics
Experience & Proficiency
4+ years in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related role
Strong Python skills with Pandas and SQLAlchemy; able to read, debug, and maintain existing code IMPORTANT
Advanced PostgreSQL skills including complex queries, schema design, roles, backups, performance, and data quality
Linux/Debian administration and Docker Compose troubleshooting, rebuilding, and deployment experience
Git/GitHub experience, including SSH deploy keys and private package installations.
Experience taking ownership of undocumented or poorly documented systems and establishing reliable processes
Strong documentation and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Power BI, data modeling, automation, and dashboard development experience preferred
