Role Description The Senior Project Manager (part-time, remote) will oversee end-to-end project planning and execution for manufacturing and supply chain initiatives. This role includes coordinating project timelines, resources, and budgets, and ensuring that deliverables meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The Senior Project Manager will manage expediting activities with suppliers and internal teams to keep production and deliveries on schedule, and will monitor inspection processes to confirm product and material compliance. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve supervising logistics management, resolving project risks and issues, preparing progress reports for leadership, and driving continuous improvement across projects and processes while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Project Management skills, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
Candidates should possess Expeditor and Expediting skills to manage supplier follow-up, track orders, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Candidates should possess Inspection skills to oversee quality checks, compliance verification, and documentation of manufacturing outputs.
Candidates should possess Logistics Management skills to coordinate transportation, inventory movements, and delivery schedules.
Relevant experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, or rubber products production is highly beneficial.
Proficiency with project management tools, basic ERP or supply chain systems, and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple projects part-time.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; advanced certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are an advantage.
