Job Responsibilities:
Lead APQP activities for new programs and product changes.
Prepare, review, and submit PPAP documentation in accordance with customer requirements.
Act as the key contact for customer quality concerns and audits.
Develop and maintain quality documentation, including Control Plans, PFMEAs, and Process Flow Diagrams.
Participate in cross-functional teams to ensure customer expectations are met during design, development, and launch phases.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for customer complaints and internal quality issues (8D, 5Why, Ishikawa).
Monitor customer satisfaction and coordinate quality improvement plans where needed.
Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
Support internal and external audits and facilitate problem-solving initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Quality or Manufacturing Engineering or a related field
Several years (min. 5 years) of experience with APQP
Certifications such as Six Sigma, IATF 16949 auditor, or ASQ CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) are often considered strong assets
