Role Description The Cyber Security Specialist with IT, OT, and AI capabilities will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls across applications, networks, information systems, OT environments, and AI-driven solutions. This full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru involves monitoring security events, analyzing threats, and responding to incidents to minimize risk and downtime. Day-to-day tasks include conducting vulnerability assessments, performing security reviews of applications and infrastructure, managing security configurations, and supporting compliance with internal policies and external regulations. The specialist will collaborate with IT, OT, data science, and business teams to integrate security into system architecture, projects, and AI models. The role also includes documenting security procedures, contributing to security awareness initiatives, and recommending improvements based on industry best practices.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Cybersecurity and Information Security skills, including risk assessment, policy implementation, and incident response.
Candidates should possess solid Network Security skills, such as firewall management, intrusion detection/prevention, and secure network design.
Candidates should possess Application Security skills, including secure coding practices, code review, and application vulnerability testing.
Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Cyber domains across IT, OT, and AI environments, including threat modeling and security architecture.
Relevant experience with security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, IEC 62443) is beneficial.
Hands-on experience with security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners) is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar credentials are an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate complex security concepts clearly.
