Role Description The Electrical Engineer role at PEEC is a full-time, position based in Mumbai. The Electrical Engineer will design and review electrical systems and layouts for commercial, industrial, and residential projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing design calculations and drawings, coordinating power distribution and power system requirements, and collaborating with project managers, contractors, and clients to clarify technical specifications. The role also involves inspecting installations, troubleshooting electrical issues, recommending improvements, and supporting cost and material estimates. The Electrical Engineer will contribute to maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency across all assigned projects.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, including a clear understanding of electricity principles and applications.
Hands-on experience with Electrical Design for building and infrastructure projects, including layout planning and system integration.
Knowledge of Power Distribution systems, covering load calculations, panel schedules, and distribution network design.
Understanding of Power Systems, including protection, grounding, and reliability of electrical networks.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Proficiency with electrical design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD or similar software).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information clearly.
Prior experience in consultancy, construction, or engineering services is an advantage.
