Position Overview
Tinch Jewels is seeking a strategic and results-driven Vice President of Finance to oversee the company’s financial operations, financial planning, budgeting, and long-term financial strategy. This executive role is responsible for maintaining financial stability, supporting sustainable business growth, and ensuring that financial resources are allocated effectively across the organization.
The Vice President of Finance will work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to strengthen financial performance, improve operational efficiency, and support the company’s strategic objectives within the jewelry industry.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy and Leadership
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives and long-term growth plans
Provide financial leadership and strategic recommendations to executive management to support business decisions and investment priorities
Oversee financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance evaluation across the organization
Financial Operations and Management
Supervise daily financial operations, including cash flow management, financial reporting, expense control, and financial resource allocation
Establish and maintain effective financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability, reduce costs, and strengthen operational efficiency
Budgeting and Financial Analysis
Lead the preparation and management of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial plans
Analyze revenue trends, operating expenses, profit margins, and financial performance indicators
Prepare financial reports and executive presentations to support strategic planning and management decisions
Risk Management and Compliance
Oversee financial risk assessment and develop strategies to protect the company’s financial resources
Coordinate financial reporting and accounting processes in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Work with external accountants, auditors, tax advisors, and other financial professionals to support accurate reporting and compliance
Business Growth and Strategic Planning
Collaborate with executive leadership to evaluate business expansion opportunities, investment initiatives, and strategic partnerships
Assess the financial implications of product development, inventory management, pricing strategies, and market expansion
Develop financial models and business forecasts to support sustainable growth and informed decision-making
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with operations, sales, marketing, procurement, and other departments to align financial objectives with business activities
Provide financial insights that support inventory planning, supply chain efficiency, and working capital management
Promote financial accountability and data-driven decision-making throughout the organization
Performance Objectives
Strengthen the company’s financial planning and reporting capabilities
Improve budget management, cash flow visibility, and financial forecasting accuracy
Support revenue growth and sustainable profitability through effective financial strategies
Enhance financial controls, risk management, and resource allocation
Provide executive leadership with timely and actionable financial insights
Reporting Structure
The Vice President of Finance reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer or designated executive leadership and collaborates with senior management to support the company’s financial performance and strategic development.
