Role Description The Vice President of Financial Planning is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading the company’s long-term financial strategy and planning processes. This position oversees the development of financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support executive decision-making and sustainable growth. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing financial performance, preparing detailed financial reports, and evaluating investment opportunities and capital allocation strategies. The role collaborates with senior leadership to align financial plans with business objectives, manages risk assessments, and ensures compliance with relevant financial standards and policies. The Vice President also mentors finance team members, refines planning tools and methodologies, and provides clear, data-driven insights to stakeholders.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Financial Planning and Finance, with demonstrated experience leading corporate financial strategy and budgeting processes.
Advanced Analytical Skills applied to complex financial data, scenario modeling, and performance evaluation.
Expertise in Financial Reporting, including preparation, review, and interpretation of financial statements and management reports.
Knowledge of Investment Strategies, capital allocation, and risk management within a corporate or investment environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred.
Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally within industrial, engineering, or manufacturing sectors.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment, lead cross-functional teams, and manage multiple priorities.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to sound financial governance and compliance.
