Job Summary
The purpose of the Shipping Associate/Paker is to ensures safe and accurate packing/skidding of outbound orders to arrive at our customer in a quality condition. Shipping Associate/Packer is accountable for the execution and accuracy of the order picking and packing process through completion.
Job Responsibilities
Generate and distribute Pick Lists to Pick team
Ensure correct product is picked and document accordingly
Check quality of product and report findings to Lead, Supervisor or QC if necessary
Select proper packaging materials
Pack product to ensure safe transit to deliver in a quality condition
Weigh shipment
Provides necessary documentation to Shipping Clerk for processing
Generate and ensure accurate application of all required skid/pallet labeling for shipment
Job Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Basic reading and math skills. Must be able to follow directions
Exercises independent initiative/judgement in work methods
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation
The hourly pay rate is $17.00/hr + $1.50/hr shift differnential
