PolySpect is looking to connect with an experienced Agisoft Metashape Professional specialist to support our growing building and infrastructure reality-capture projects.
We capture high-resolution drone and terrestrial imagery to create accurate 3D representations of buildings, structures and infrastructure for digital inspection, assessment and asset management.
We're looking for someone with strong technical photogrammetry experience, particularly in resolving complex image alignment and reconstruction geometry challenges.
Key skills and experience
Advanced experience with Agisoft Metashape Professional.
Troubleshooting and correcting camera alignment, false tie-point matches and distorted geometry.
Photogrammetric processing of buildings, including roofs, vertical façades and repetitive architectural features.
Understanding of camera calibration, GPS/RTK positioning, reference accuracy and bundle adjustment.
Experience optimising alignment workflows for large image datasets.
Ability to validate geometric accuracy and identify potential reconstruction errors.
Delivering clean, correctly aligned Metashape project files for further in-house processing.
What we're looking for
Someone who understands the technical side of photogrammetry and can confidently troubleshoot difficult datasets, rather than simply run automated processing workflows.
Skills assessment
Candidates will be provided with a sample dataset from an actual PolySpect capture project to assess their technical approach, problem-solving ability and proficiency with Agisoft Metashape.
The assessment will focus on image alignment, geometric accuracy and the ability to identify and resolve reconstruction issues. Any substantial processing work will be separately scoped and agreed upon.
Future opportunities
This is initially a fully remote, project-based freelance opportunity. However, we're looking to build a longer-term working relationship with the right person.
As PolySpect grows, there is genuine potential for regular ongoing work and a more permanent position for a candidate who demonstrates strong technical ability, reliability and an understanding of our workflows.
