Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates with 8 to 12 years of experience in Oil & Gas or related industries such as refining, petrochemical, pharmaceuticals, LNG etc. Candidates with at least 3 years of experience working with Storage Tanks will be preferred.
We are seeking candidates with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities who are able to work independently as well as in multi-disciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical solution in Tankage Asset Integrity
Perform RBI Assessments in accordance with API RP 580/581
Identify degradation mechanisms and assess storage tank condition based on inspection reports and other relevant documents
Prepare technical reports and presentations]
Adhere to established procedures, guidelines, and policies.
Maintain customer focus, integrity, and collaboration in the workplace.
Contribute openly and transparently to internal efforts to ensure a strong workplace culture.
Work Experience
Skills and Qualifications
4-year degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials or Metallurgical Engineering
8 to 12 years of experience working in Oil & Gas or related industry (Refining/ Petrochemical/ Pharma/ LNG) and at least 3 years of experience working with storage tanks.
Sound knowledge and work experience in the following areas:
In-service and shutdown inspection and maintenance of various types of Storage Tanks. Knowledge of API 650 and 653; and API 653 certification is preferred
Various NDT techniques such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT), Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT), Radiography Testing (RT), Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) inspection etc. SNT TC-1A Level 2 certification is highly desirable.
Risk-based inspection methodology alongside knowledge of API 580 and 581 is a must and Certification in API 580 will be considered a plus.
Welding and inspection of welds. Certifications such as CSWIP (TWI) or CWI (AWS) will be an added advantage.
Inspection Plan development, optimization & preparation of repair scope is required.
Tank static calculations will be considered a plus.
Design software like PV Elite, Tank Hexagon etc. will be an advantage
Damage Mechanisms and material selection
Excellent verbal and written communication in English
Willingness to collaborate with other team members and teams effectively
Knowledge of software tools such as MS Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. is required
Knowledge of APM Meridium, Pestra, Credo, etc. is highly desirable
