Job Summary
The Winter Intern will collaborate with technical staff to support special projects, data entry, maintenance, and day-to-day operations. This role provides an opportunity to apply engineering principles and classroom knowledge to practical, real-world projects during the winter academic break. Through hands-on experience, the intern will gain valuable technical skills, contribute to ongoing project initiatives, and develop a deeper understanding of professional engineering practices and operational processes.
Job Description
Assist in Management of Change process, developing and implementing new ideas and initiatives
Maintain plant housekeeping and security
Assist in the development of standard operational procedures as assigned
Assist with mechanical maintenance tasks, routine Preventative Maintenance, and inspections and troubleshooting as assigned
Assist with operational and mechanical activities to maximize plant availability and reliability
Complete required plant training
Perform other projects as assigned
