About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

Company Description:
ILLUSTRATED SOUNDS is a music public relations company that helps artists, labels, and music brands get their sound heard and their stories told. We pair creative strategy with hands-on press work to build buzz around releases, sharpen an artist's image, and grow real, lasting connections with fans and media. Our team works closely with every client to understand their vision and turn it into coverage, conversations, and moments that move the needle. We value fresh ideas, clear communication, and long-term relationships with the artists we represent and the press we work with.
Role Description:
The Senior Account Coordinator is a part-time, remote role supporting our artist and client campaigns from start to finish. Day to day, you'll coordinate client calls / interviews / appearances, prepare campaign updates, track deliverables, and keep release timelines on schedule. You'll write and send press pitches, help draft bios and press materials, answer client questions, and work with the team to stay aligned on priorities. You'll also track press results and campaign performance, spot new opportunities for coverage, and help build the media relationships that keep our clients in front of the right writers, editors, playlist curators, and podcast hosts.
Qualifications:
Experience managing client relationships, ideally with artists, labels, or managers, and keeping clients informed and happy
Strong writing skills, including pitches, bios, and press releases that sound natural, not templated
Excellent communication and people skills with both clients and media contacts
Familiarity with music media, including blogs, publications, podcasts, and radio, and a sense of what makes a story pitchable
Ability to track coverage and campaign results and turn them into clear recaps and recommendations
Background in music PR, entertainment, marketing, or other creative industries is a plus
Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to juggle multiple campaigns and release dates in a remote, part-time setup
Comfortable with Gmail, Google Sheets, and project management tools, and confident working independently
