Job Description Summary:The Manager, Ecommerce – Amazon will own full P&L and day-to-day performance of our multi-brand beauty business on Amazon US and Canada while leading our expansion into the UK, EU and Australia. This hands-on role needs deep Amazon expertise, strong analytical skills, and experience launching and scaling international marketplaces.
Job Description:Amazon Manager, North America & International Expansion (Beauty & Personal Care)
About the role
We’re looking for a hands-on Amazon leader. You’ll run our established Amazon US and Canada business day to day and build our expansion into the UK, EU and Australia. You’ll own the P&L, listings, advertising and promotions yourself, and you’ll set up and run new marketplaces from scratch. That includes the regulatory, tax and logistics work every new country requires. This role suits someone who enjoys both optimizing a mature business and launching new markets.
Key Responsibilities
P&L ownership (US, CA and international)
Own the full P&L for Amazon US and CA across multiple beauty brands and a large SKU portfolio. Extend that ownership to each new international marketplace as it launches.
Drive profitable growth through pricing discipline, cost control and advertising ROI. Build country-level P&Ls that account for VAT/GST, FX, EPR fees, cross-border freight, duties and FBA fees.
Forecast sales, manage budgets, and report performance against financial targets by marketplace.
International expansion (UK, EU, AU)
Lead market-entry planning: choose markets and sequence them, pick the right assortment for each, set pricing and channel strategy (Pan-EU FBA, EFN, Remote Fulfillment or local FBA), and set launch timelines.
Set up and manage new Seller Central marketplaces, including account verification, brand registry, listing localization and FBA inbound setup.
Own the compliance gating for each market, working with regulatory, legal and outside providers.
Select and manage compliance and logistics partners, including VAT/EPR agencies, Responsible Person providers, importers of record, customs brokers and 3PLs. Hold them to clear SLAs and costs.
Work with supply chain on international inbound shipments: importer of record, customs and duties, carton and pallet specs, and packaging data requirements.
Build a repeatable launch playbook that speeds up and lowers the risk of each new country.
Portfolio and assortment management
Manage item setup, new launches, discontinuations, pricing and assortment across all marketplaces, adapting assortment to local demand and regulations.
Run launches across Seller Central and Vendor Central, using playbooks that build strong organic rankings within weeks.
Track category trends and competitors in each market to inform assortment decisions.
Listing optimization and SEO
Own PDP optimization across marketplaces: titles, bullets, images, A+ Content and Brand Stores, including localization and translation for non-English markets.
Build keyword and SEO strategies for each market to grow discoverability, conversion and share of search.
Promotions and events
Plan and run Prime Day, BFCM, Holiday and local tentpole events (e.g., Boxing Day in UK, CA and AU, and Singles’ Day). Align them with advertising and inventory across all regions.
Deliver strong year-over-year event growth.
Retail media and advertising
Plan and optimize Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display and DSP across US, CA and the new marketplaces.
Manage multi-million-dollar budgets and set the advertising investment strategy for launching new markets.
Work with Amazon Ads, SAS and the international account teams.
Cross-functional leadership
Lead and develop a team of 4. Work closely with marketing, operations, finance, supply chain, regulatory and legal.
Set KPIs, expectations and development plans, and coordinate outside agencies and service providers.
