IT Business Analyst

We are Hiring: IT Business Analyst to join our client project, almost fully remote.
As part of the Strategy and Governance team, you will help develop portfolio management and reporting a team in Germany. Working with Business, IT and Finance, you will translate business questions into practical analyses, clear decision materials and useful tools for planning and investment decisions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Support portfolio planning, prioritisation and regular reviews, considering strategic fit, expected benefits, risks and team capacity;
Analyse business requirements and contribute to business cases, roadmaps and management presentations;
Maintain application information, ownership and dependencies in LeanIX, linking them to initiatives and business needs;
Develop Power BI reports and data models covering costs, actuals versus forecast, resource allocation and delivery progress;
Work with data owners to improve data quality, automate reporting and clarify cost allocation;
Support stakeholder workshops and the introduction of governance processes, documenting decisions and following up agreed actions.
Requirements:
Experience in business analysis, portfolio management, IT governance or transformation projects;
Practical experience with both LeanIX and Power BI, including data modelling;
Experience in strategy consulting, management consulting or a comparable internal advisory role is an advantage;
An understanding of IT financials, business cases and how initiatives, applications and resources connect;
A structured, analytical approach, with the ability to break down complex questions and explain findings clearly;
Confidence working with different stakeholders and contributing independently to agreed work packages;
A relevant degree or equivalent practical experience, with very good English skills;
Ability to take advantage of AI, to explore practical ways to use it in analysis, reporting and everyday work.
