Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Bikaner. The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial activities, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable. Responsibilities include preparing basic financial reports, supporting month-end and year-end closing processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and organizational policies. The role also involves reconciling bank statements, monitoring expenses, and coordinating with internal teams to gather and verify financial data. The Accountant will help maintain accurate documentation and may assist senior finance staff with audits and budgeting tasks.
Qualifications
Foundational knowledge of accounting principles, including journal entries, ledgers, and financial statements.
Ability to work with spreadsheets and accounting software; familiarity with MS Excel and basic financial tools.
Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to organize and prioritize work effectively.
Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
Willingness to learn, adapt to established processes, and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Understanding of basic tax concepts and statutory compliance is an advantage but not mandatory.
