Full Stack AI Engineer Volunteer

Responsibilities:
1. Build Full-Stack ySpace Features
* Develop frontend interfaces, backend services, APIs, databases and integrations across the ySpace platform.
* Connect product features to route intelligence and logistics systems.
2. Research & Develop Route Intelligence
* Research algorithms, papers and existing technologies for routing, optimization, ETA prediction and logistics intelligence.
* Prototype technologies and approaches the team has not previously built.
3. Build the Route Intelligence Engine
* Develop the core system that takes origin, destination, vehicle profile, constraints and objectives and produces optimized routes and alternatives.
4. Develop ETA & Travel-Time Prediction
* Build systems that estimate travel duration and arrival time using traffic, historical trips, road conditions and available data.
5. Develop Geospatial & Traffic Intelligence
* Work with road networks, map matching, geographic data, traffic information and location normalization.
* Build the services connecting these systems to the ySpace platform.
6. Build Route Scoring & Recommendations
* Compare routes based on time, reliability, traffic, distance and constraints.
* Develop recommendations that can explain why a route was selected.
7. Build Predictive Logistics Intelligence
* Research and develop predictive ETA, delay-risk prediction, anomaly detection, route reliability and dynamic recommendations.
8. Build Data & ML Infrastructure
* Design databases and pipelines for routes, traffic, predicted vs. actual travel times and outcomes.
* Ensure the systems are scalable, reliable and maintainable.
9. Experiment, Integrate & Validate
* Prototype, simulate and benchmark algorithms and software.
* Integrate third-party mapping, traffic and routing technologies where appropriate, rather than unnecessarily building everything from scratch.
10. Own the Evolution of ySpace Technology:
* Continuously improve the frontend, backend, AI, optimization and geospatial systems.
* Turn successful research into production technology and progressively move ySpace toward predictive and autonomous logistics.
