About the Role
We are looking for a talented, imaginative, and detail-oriented 2D Animator to join our creative team full-time.
The selected candidate will work on character animations, educational content, storytelling sequences, and other animated experiences for Yaara’s application and digital platforms.
We are looking for someone who understands not just how to animate, but how movement, expressions, timing, and storytelling can communicate ideas and emotions effectively.
Key Responsibilities
* Create high-quality 2D animations for the Yaara application and digital content.
* Animate characters, expressions, gestures, and movements.
* Collaborate with storyboard artists, designers, and the creative team.
* Translate storyboards and scripts into engaging animations.
* Develop animations that communicate health and lifestyle concepts clearly.
* Maintain visual consistency across characters and animated content.
* Work on animation sequences for educational videos, social media, and in-app experiences.
* Incorporate creative feedback and deliver work within agreed timelines.
* Organize and maintain animation project files and assets.
Requirements
* Proficiency in relevant 2D animation software such as Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, Moho, or equivalent tools.
* Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, spacing, and movement.
* Ability to create expressive and visually engaging character animations.
* Understanding of storytelling and visual communication.
* Ability to interpret storyboards and scripts.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to collaborate with a creative team.
* Portfolio or showreel demonstrating relevant animation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in character animation.
* Experience creating educational or explainer animations.
* Understanding of character acting and emotional expression.
* Experience with both short-form and long-form animated content.
* Familiarity with preparing animations for mobile applications.
