Role Description The Head of PMO is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading the Project Management Office and ensuring effective governance across all projects. This role oversees the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of PMO standards, frameworks, and methodologies aligned with AI-driven business transformation. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing program performance, monitoring budgets and resource allocation, and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of strategic initiatives. The Head of PMO collaborates closely with executive leadership and key stakeholders to prioritize projects, mitigate risks, and maintain transparency through reporting and analytics. This role also involves coaching and developing project management teams, fostering a culture of accountability, and driving adoption of best practices and enabling technologies.
Qualifications
Strong Program Management and portfolio management skills, with proven experience leading complex, multi-stream initiatives
Effective Stakeholder Management capabilities, including communication, influence, and expectation alignment across senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated proficiency in Budgeting, financial oversight, and resource planning for programs and portfolios.
Track record of Team Leadership, including mentoring, performance management, and building high-performing project delivery teams.
Experience establishing and operating a PMO within consulting, technology, or enterprise environments; familiarity with AI or digital transformation is an advantage.
Knowledge of project and program management frameworks and tools (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, Agile, hybrid methodologies).
Ability to work effectively in a fully remote setting, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
