Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Plant and Machinery role based in Jalor. The role involves overseeing daily operation, maintenance, and upkeep of construction plant and machinery, ensuring that equipment is available, functional, and safe for use at all times. The position includes monitoring machine performance, coordinating repairs, scheduling preventive maintenance, and maintaining accurate records of usage, service, and downtime. The individual will collaborate with site supervisors and project managers to allocate equipment efficiently, support smooth project execution, and comply with safety and regulatory requirements. The role may also involve supervising technical staff, managing spare parts inventory, and liaising with vendors or service providers as needed.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of construction plant and machinery operations, including daily checks, routine maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
Experience in equipment maintenance planning, record-keeping, and coordination with service teams or vendors.
Knowledge of safety practices, regulatory compliance, and risk management related to machinery at construction sites.
Ability to work on-site in Jalor, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage time effectively in a project-driven environment.
Prior experience in infrastructure or construction projects and familiarity with heavy equipment is highly beneficial.
Relevant technical diploma or degree in ,Electrical engineering civil, or related engineering field is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and readiness to handle urgent operational issues.
