At CI&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Java Developer to join our team in Brazil. You will contribute to an innovative project in a collaborative, dynamic, and multicultural environment, leveraging modern technologies and AI-driven development practices.
Position Overview
As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable cloud-based solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Azure.
Working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, you will contribute to technical decisions, integrate external services, and ensure high-quality solutions aligned with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end services and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, connecting applications with external systems and services.
Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and define technical solutions.
Ensure application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
Participate in code reviews and promote software engineering best practices.
Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
Contribute to technical discussions, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with team members in an agile and multicultural environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Must-have Skills:
Proven experience as a Senior Java Developer.
Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
Solid experience designing, developing, and maintaining microservices-based applications.
Hands-on experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and external services.
Experience with Git and version control best practices.
Proficiency in English, both speaking and reading, to collaborate effectively in an international environment.
Strong problem-solving skills, autonomy, and attention to detail.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
Nice-to-have Skills:
Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
Familiarity with AI Spec-Driven Development and AI-assisted software development practices.
Experience working with agile methodologies.
Ability to contribute to technical discussions and support knowledge sharing within the team.
