Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Cloud Administrator at Clear InfoSec. The Cloud Administrator will manage and maintain cloud environments, including provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and optimization of cloud resources across multiple platforms. Responsibilities include implementing and supporting secure infrastructure, performing system administration tasks, and ensuring high availability, performance, and cost efficiency. The role involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, collaborating with security and development teams to apply best practices, and assisting in the automation of deployments and operational processes. The Cloud Administrator will contribute to documentation, compliance efforts, and continuous improvement of cloud and security operations.
Qualifications
Cloud platform skills: Strong proficiency in Cloud Administration, including provisioning, monitoring, and optimizing cloud services.
Core systems and infrastructure skills: Experience in System Administration and Infrastructure management in cloud and hybrid environments.
Security-focused skills: Knowledge of Network Security principles and practices applied to cloud and virtualized infrastructures.
Operational support skills: Demonstrated ability in Troubleshooting complex technical issues across systems, networks, and cloud services.
Beneficial technical skills: Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation), configuration management, and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Professional qualifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP Cloud certifications; security certifications such as Security+ or CISSP) are a plus.
Soft skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, clear written and verbal communication, and the capacity to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
Education and experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience in cloud or systems administration.
