Project Overview
Ollie’s Angels Foundation is seeking a talented Ringling College Illustration student to create original artwork for our upcoming “Meet Me in the Sunset” apparel collection, featuring beach-inspired T-shirts, hoodies, and fundraising merchandise. The selected design will help bring the collection to life while supporting the mission and charitable work of Ollie’s Angels Foundation.
Company Description
Ollie’s Angels Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in remembrance of Elana Korey, whose compassion and love for animals inspire the organization’s mission. The foundation focuses on youth safety and advocacy through Project 802, including initiatives like Catch A Safe Ride™, student-athlete outreach, and impaired-driving awareness programs that empower young people. In honor of Elana’s lifelong dedication to animals, the organization also supports shelters, rescues, and sanctuaries. Volunteers and supporters help advance programs that promote safer communities and greater compassion. The foundation offers meaningful opportunities for creative individuals who want to contribute to social impact and animal welfare.
Artistic Vision
Create an original, beach-inspired illustration featuring a beautiful sunset, a college-aged woman, and her Golden Retriever looking toward the horizon.
The beach and sunset should be central elements of the design, while the overall composition and artistic style are open to creative interpretation. Additional elements may include footprints and pawprints in the sand, a baby sea turtle, meaningful angel numbers, the Ollie’s Angels football, and Foundation messaging thoughtfully incorporated into the artwork.
The finished design should feel meaningful, hopeful, and visually compelling while also translating beautifully to apparel.
Ideal Candidate
A current Ringling College of Art and Design student with strong illustration and visual storytelling skills, a creative eye for meaningful and emotionally resonant artwork, and an interest in creating original work for a nonprofit cause.
The ideal candidate is open to creative collaboration and feedback while bringing their own artistic style and perspective to the project.
Why This Project Is Unique
The selected artist will have the opportunity to create original artwork for an Ollie’s Angels Foundation apparel collection designed to raise awareness and support our charitable programs and life-saving initiatives.
The artwork may be featured on T-shirts, hoodies, and other fundraising merchandise and shared with supporters across the country, giving the selected artist a meaningful real-world project to add to their portfolio.
Portfolio-Building Opportunity
Gain real-world design experience, develop apparel-ready artwork, collaborate directly with nonprofit leadership, and create a professional portfolio piece that will be used as part of an active nonprofit fundraising and awareness campaign.
