Role Description This is a remote contract role for a Research Assistant at Prime Research & Analytics Consultancy (PRAC). The Research Assistant will support the design and execution of research projects, including literature reviews, data collection, and data cleaning. Day-to-day tasks include organizing and documenting research materials, assisting with basic data analysis, and preparing summaries, tables, and visuals for reports and presentations. Depending on project needs, the role may involve supporting laboratory-related activities (if applicable) through coordination with technical teams, as well as maintaining project timelines and communicating progress to project leads. The Research Assistant will collaborate with senior researchers to ensure that deliverables meet quality standards and client requirements.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Data Analysis abilities, with comfort working with quantitative and qualitative data.
Candidates should possess solid Research skills, including literature review, study design support, and data collection techniques.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly in written and verbal formats.
Candidates should possess relevant Laboratory Skills when required for project work, including basic lab procedures and adherence to safety protocols.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
Proficiency with common research and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, statistical software, or data visualization tools) is beneficial.
Prior experience in academic, market, or scientific research is an advantage.
A bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as Statistics, Economics, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, or a related discipline is preferred.
