Role Description The AI and Software Development Intern will support the design, development, and testing of software components and AI-driven solutions for automotive and related applications. Day-to-day tasks may include assisting in coding and debugging, implementing algorithms, preparing scripts and tools for data processing, and contributing to documentation of software and AI models. The intern will collaborate with engineers and developers to integrate software modules, participate in reviews, and help improve existing systems through analysis and optimization. This is an internship role based on-site at the company’s Bengaluru location, offering hands-on exposure to real-world projects and industry-best practices.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in programming (e.g., Python, C++, or Java) and basic software development practices, including version control and debugging.
Understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, such as supervised learning, model training, and evaluation, with exposure to common libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) considered an advantage.
Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles relevant to high-performance and reliable applications.
Ability to analyze technical requirements, conduct basic research, and contribute to problem-solving in engineering and software contexts.
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
Interest in automotive, railway, or aerospace technologies and willingness to learn domain-specific tools, standards, and workflows.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage assigned tasks and timelines in an on-site, project-driven environment.
