Role Description The Vice President of Investment Strategy is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the firm’s investment strategy and advisory initiatives. This position develops and oversees investment frameworks aligned with client objectives, risk profiles, and regulatory requirements, especially in cross-border and tax-sensitive environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating market trends, analyzing financial data, and designing investment policies that complement NexusTrust’s accounting and tax services. The role involves conducting investment due diligence, reviewing portfolios, recommending asset allocations, and presenting strategic insights to internal stakeholders and clients. The Vice President collaborates with accounting, tax, and forensic teams to integrate investment considerations into broader financial solutions, supports business development efforts, and contributes to thought leadership on investment and financial strategy.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Investment Management and Investments, with a track record of designing and overseeing diversified portfolios.
Deep knowledge of Finance, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and capital allocation in multi-jurisdiction environments.
Proficiency in Due Diligence for investment opportunities, including qualitative and quantitative analysis of companies, markets, and instruments.
Advanced experience in developing and implementing Investment Strategies that align with client objectives, tax considerations, and regulatory requirements.
Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA, CPA with strong finance focus) are an advantage.
Experience working with or advising SMEs, startups, or cross-border businesses, ideally within or alongside accounting and tax advisory environments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring teams, collaborating across functions, and managing stakeholder expectations in a remote setup.
High level of integrity, adherence to ethical standards, and commitment to confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
