Head of Asset Management

Role Description
The Head of Asset Management is a full-time remote role responsible for leading all asset management activities, including portfolio strategy, performance oversight, and risk management. This role oversees the evaluation of investment opportunities, sets asset allocation policies, and ensures alignment with the organization’s financial and strategic objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing portfolio performance, preparing reports and recommendations for senior leadership, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders such as investment managers and advisors. The Head of Asset Management will also develop and refine business plans for asset growth, implement governance standards, and monitor market trends to inform investment decisions. This position leads a team, establishes best practices, and promotes a culture of accountability and data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and support data-driven decisions.
Business planning and strategic thinking experience to design and execute asset management and growth strategies.
Finance and investments expertise, including knowledge of capital markets, asset classes, and risk-return trade-offs.
Portfolio management skills, with experience in asset allocation, performance measurement, and risk management frameworks.
Proficiency with financial modeling and analytical tools (e.g., Excel, BI platforms, or portfolio analytics software).
Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams or projects in asset management, investment, or finance functions.
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across time zones.
