Odoo Functional Consultant/Business Analyst

Role Description This full-time remote role as an Odoo Functional Consultant/Business Analyst involves analyzing client business processes and translating them into effective Odoo configurations and workflows. The role includes gathering and documenting requirements, preparing functional specifications, and advising stakeholders on best practices for implementing Odoo modules across areas such as finance, sales, inventory, and HR. The consultant will conduct system demonstrations, support user acceptance testing, and provide training and functional support to end users. Day-to-day responsibilities also include collaborating with technical teams to ensure proper customization, troubleshooting functional issues, and continuously optimizing the Odoo environment to meet client objectives.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret business needs, map processes, and propose data-driven solutions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across remote and cross-functional teams.
Solid understanding of business processes (e.g., finance, sales, procurement, inventory, CRM) and their integration within ERP systems.
Experience in consulting or client-facing roles, preferably involving Odoo or other ERP/Business Management solutions.
Knowledge of finance and accounting principles to support implementation of financial and reporting modules.
Hands-on experience configuring and supporting Odoo (or similar ERP), including requirements gathering, testing, and user training.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and deliver within agreed timelines.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Familiarity with project management practices and tools; experience in high-tech or SaaS environments is an advantage.
