Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Store Manager role based in Kannur. The Store Manager oversees daily store operations, including staff supervision, scheduling, and adherence to company policies and procedures. Responsibilities include ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, managing visual merchandising, monitoring inventory, and driving sales performance. The role involves implementing retail loss prevention measures, handling escalated customer issues, and maintaining accurate cash handling and reporting. The Store Manager collaborates with regional leadership on store targets, leads and develops the store team, and ensures a safe, clean, and engaging shopping environment.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with the ability to build positive shopper experiences and manage escalations effectively.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear verbal communication, active listening, and the ability to guide and motivate team members.
Candidates should possess Store Management skills, including team leadership, staff scheduling, performance monitoring, and adherence to operational standards.
Candidates should possess Retail Loss Prevention skills, including awareness of shrinkage controls, compliance with security procedures, and accurate cash handling.
Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in retail or store supervision, basic knowledge of sales reporting and KPIs, and proficiency with POS and store management systems.
A diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, or a related field is preferred, along with the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
