About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

At Abivax, our purpose is simple: to improve patients' lives. As a global clinical-stage biotechnology company with headquarter in Paris and offices in the United States, we are advancing innovative therapies for people living with chronic inflammatory diseases.
We are looking for talented, purpose-driven individuals who want their work to have a meaningful impact. Every day, we challenge ourselves to ask: "How did I make a patient's life better today?" If that question inspires and motivates you, we invite you to join our team.
The Director of Professional Education will develop and execute U.S. commercial peer-to-peer education programs that support healthcare professional understanding of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), unmet patient needs, and evolving treatment approaches. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Medical Communications, this individual will translate educational priorities into coordinated personal and non-personal learning experiences that support launch readiness and long-term brand objectives.
This role will manage personal peer-to-peer education, including in-person speaker programs, live virtual programs, and interactive expert-led discussions, as well as non-personal peer-to-peer education, including on-demand expert videos, recorded learning modules, and digital educational series. The individual will oversee program content development, faculty readiness, channel execution, and measurement in partnership with HCP Marketing, Thought Leader Engagement, Medical Affairs, Commercial Training, and Sales Leadership.
The role will focus on company-sponsored commercial education, with disease-state and any future product education executed within approved scope and appropriate to the therapy’s regulatory status. The Head of Commercial Medical Communications will provide overall strategic direction and alignment with broader scientific communications priorities.
