Veterinary Receptionist

What You’ll Do
Create a welcoming, friendly experience for clients and patients.
Manage incoming calls and emails, responding to questions or connecting clients with the right team member.
Schedule appointments thoughtfully to support patient needs and hospital workflow.
Coordinate client check-in, check-out, and payment processing accurately.
Communicate with veterinary team members to help ensure information is shared and patient visits run smoothly.
Offer compassionate, discreet support during emotional or challenging situations.
Maintain an organized, professional reception area and help keep daily operations on track.
What We’re Looking For
Previous receptionist experience; at least one year of veterinary experience is preferred, but we encourage candidates with strong customer service skills to apply.
A calm, compassionate approach when working with clients, pets, and teammates.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen carefully and respond professionally.
Excellent organization, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy veterinary setting.
Computer proficiency and the ability to learn scheduling, payment, and veterinary practice management systems.
A self-starter mindset and a genuine interest in learning and growing professionally.
Flexibility and professionalism when handling changing priorities and sensitive situations.
