QA Engineer

We are looking for a QA Engineer for an initial 3-month contract, with the possibility of extension, to join a project focused on developing an internal recommendation system for e-commerce. The system is designed to personalize the customer shopping experience by tailoring website content based on user behavior, preferences, and current shopping trends.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience in testing web and mobile applications for Android and iOS.
Experience in REST API testing.
Knowledge of test automation and hands-on experience with at least one of the following technologies: Kotlin, Swift, TypeScript/Playwright, Python.
Familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, Firebase App Distribution/App Tester, Postman, Swagger, TestFlight, TestRail, Jira, Confluence, Git, Bitbucket, GitLab, and BrowserStack.
Hands-on experience using AI/LLM tools to support software testing and test automation.
Experience in creating and maintaining test scenarios and test cases.
Knowledge of SQL.
Very good understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
Practical knowledge of software quality assurance, including developing and implementing QA standards and best practices within a team.
Experience in effectively using AI tools in day-to-day work.
Nice to have
Experience working on e-commerce platforms or recommendation/personalization systems.
English proficiency at B1/B2 level, sufficient for reading and writing technical documentation.
Responsibilities
Testing web and mobile applications on Android and iOS.
Performing functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
Testing REST APIs.
Creating and developing automated tests for API, web, and mobile applications.
Preparing test scenarios and test cases.
Analyzing defects, logs, and test results.
Documenting test execution and reporting defects.
Supporting the development of QA competencies and best practices within the team.
Collaborating closely with QA Engineers, developers, and project teams.
