About The Role
As WWT’s Chief Technology Advisor (CTA) for India, you will be the senior technology voice for our clients in one of the world’s fastest-growing technology markets. You will build trusted relationships with CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, chief architects and GCC leaders, help them shape their technology strategy, and turn that strategy into architectures, programs and measurable business outcomes with WWT and our global OEM partners.
India’s technology landscape is moving fast. Enterprises are taking AI from pilot to production. Data center capacity is growing rapidly. GCCs are taking on global technology mandates. New data protection and cyber resilience rules are changing how infrastructure is designed. You will help clients navigate all of it with clear, evidence-based advice, proven first in WWT’s Advanced Technology Center (ATC) and AI Proving Ground.
This is a senior, customer-facing role that leads through influence. You will work closely with our account teams, CSE pre-sales engineers, Management Consulting and delivery teams in India and around the world, and with the India leadership of our OEM partners.

What You’ll Do
You will advise senior technology leaders as they modernize infrastructure, scale AI and move to hybrid cloud. Your work spans five areas.
Be a trusted advisor to India’s technology leaders
Lead executive conversations with CIOs, CTOs, CISOs and GCC heads to understand their business priorities, technology roadmaps and constraints.
Bring a clear, objective point of view on AI, data center modernization, hybrid cloud, networking and cybersecurity, drawing on the world’s leading OEMs.
Turn India’s regulatory requirements into practical architecture decisions on data residency, resilience and security, including the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act and requirements from RBI, SEBI, IRDAI and CERT-In.
Shape strategy and architecture
Run executive briefings, architecture workshops and enablement sessions with WWT experts in AI, networking, compute, storage, cloud, security, automation and application development.
Guide clients from AI pilots to production, from private AI platforms to large GPU clusters, covering compute, high-performance networking and storage, and the power and cooling realities of India’s data centers.
Design resilient architectures for India’s scale, including the multi-site data center and disaster recovery models expected in regulated sectors such as banking and capital markets.
Use the ATC and AI Proving Ground to run objective, multi-vendor proofs of concept, so clients can validate before they invest. In a market that buys on evidence and total cost of ownership, this is a powerful differentiator.
Connect global and local
Be the bridge between WWT’s global account teams and the India operations and GCCs of our multinational clients, aligning local priorities with global strategy.
Help clients deploy in India with confidence, working with CSE, supply chain and integration teams so solutions meet India’s import, certification and support requirements.
Know WWT’s capabilities in depth, from the ATC, AI Proving Ground and global integration centers to consulting, digital and lifecycle services, and build strong relationships with the leaders behind them.
Drive growth with account teams and partners
Partner with account leaders to build account strategies and executive relationship plans for a focused portfolio of strategic clients.
Shape large, multi-OEM pursuits. Frame the business case, lead the technical narrative and support complex RFP responses, while making sure solutions are commercially sound and deliverable.
Build strong relationships with the India leadership of our OEM partners to develop joint opportunities.
Ensure smooth transitions from sales to delivery with CSE, Management Consulting, implementation and project teams.
Provide accurate, timely management information, such as activity reports, bid reviews and forecasts, in line with WWT’s quality and business processes.
Build WWT’s technical brand in India
Be a visible voice for WWT in India’s CIO community through client events, industry forums such as NASSCOM and DSCI, and thought leadership.
Mentor India-based CSEs and help grow a strong local technical bench.
Keep your knowledge and certifications current through industry, product and sales training.
What Success Looks Like In Your First Year
Trusted, regular engagement with senior technology leaders across a focused portfolio of strategic accounts, each with a clear point of view and an agreed plan.
Executive workshops and strategy engagements, in areas such as AI readiness, data center modernization and cyber resilience, that turn into qualified, multi-OEM pipeline.
Clients routinely validating major technology decisions in the ATC and AI Proving Ground before they invest.
Stronger alignment between WWT’s global account teams and the India operations and GCCs of our multinational clients.
A recognized WWT voice in India’s CIO community, and a more confident, capable India CSE team.
